The competitors faced various tasks, and among the 16 pilots, the winner was Scabolcs Garab from Hungary, who scored an impressive 10,507 points. Slovenian pilot Jernej Bojanovič from the Uranos Balloon Club took second place with 10,308 points, while third place also went to a Slovenian, Vito Romej, with 10,308 points as well. We would also like to thank all the other participants for their involvement and the sponsors who supported us with financial contributions or product donations. The competition was dedicated to our former colleague Uroš Sobočan.
We didn’t forget about our youngest visitors. In the city park of Murska Sobota (near the castle), workshops for children – Playful Balloons over Sobota – were held. A real ROTO hot air balloon was on display, allowing children to see it up close. We are already eagerly awaiting the next Open National Hot Air Balloon Championship in 2025!
